A
important note about travel to and from Timberline Lodge
and Portland International Airport:
When
booking your flights, please bear in mind that the travel
time from Timberline Lodge to Portland International Airport
(PDX)can average from 1.5 to 2 hours under normal driving
and surface traffic conditions. Given the enhanced security
procedures in place at domestic airports, we strongly
recommend that you plan to allot a minimum of 4 hours
between your departure time from Timberline Lodge and
the departure time of your return flight. The recommended
time allotment should allow for both the 1.5 to 2 hour
drive from Timberline Lodge to PDX, as well as the 2 hour
early arrival time suggested by the airlines.

Travel Assistance Service
If your arriving flight is delayed, please contact our toll-free travel assistance at . You will be asked to provide your name, flight number and airline, the scheduled time of arrival as well as the new expected time of arrival and, if available, a callback number. This information will be forwarded to a Symposium representative.
The toll-free travel assistance service will be available from Friday, February 8, 2008, at 3:00 PM PST, until Saturday, February 9, 2008, at 11:59 PM PST.

Symposium Hospitality Suite
|
|
Upon arrival at PDX, we invite
you to stop by the Symposium Hospitality Suite, located
in Rose City Cafe in The Oregon Market area of the airport
main concourse. We will provide a range of complimentary
beverages and snacks for you to enjoy while waiting for
one of the busses to take you to Timberline Lodge. If time
allows, we encourage you to investigate some of the shops
in The Oregon Market, or sample some of the more eclectic
food and beverages offered at the various restaurants and
pubs. Please check-in with the Symposium Host when entering
the suite for information about airport services and Symposium
ground transportation departure information.
